Speaker: Nikki Villagomez
How Culture Affects Typography
Join designer, blogger, and typofile, Nikki Villagomez for a look into how culture affects the decision processes of every day life. For those who mix words with images, this is as crucial to the message we convey as it is fascinating to an observer of those processes. In her presentation, Nikki will use pictures she has taken throughout her travels and talk about the comparisons (and contrasts) in type choices based on location.

Nikki has asked local creatives across New Mexico to look closer at the typography throughout the state and take pictures that you feel best represent New Mexico. These pictures will be used as a crucial part of her presentation on April 10th, 2014. Pictures need to be submitted by March 10th, 2014.
