Dear Friends of AIGA New Mexico,

The past few years have been challenging, but have also brought about a new focus on design's positive impact on our world. We truly appreciate you and all the amazing members in the AIGA community who are a part of that change. Unfortunately, this period has also brought about numerous challenges for our chapter. We have seen a significant drop in both our volunteer and chapter activity, along with increased administrative demands for the ongoing management of the chapter.

Due to the insufficient financial and volunteer resources available in our area, the Board of the AIGA New Mexico chapter has voted to formally dissolve the chapter.

During the process of closing the chapter, your AIGA membership will continue without any interruption to your benefits and you will be invited to select a new chapter to join, like the nearby AIGA Arizona, AIGA Colorado, AIGA El Paso, AIGA Member at Large, or any other chapter or your choosing. Staff from the national memberships team will be available for assistance if you have any questions. You can reach them at

We want to thank everyone who has been a part of this community for the last 20+ years. This was truly a difficult decision for all of us, and we worked hard for the last 5+ years to keep AIGA New Mexico strong. Thank you to all of our volunteers and friends who helped us put on memorable events such as our HIRED Portfolio Reviews, Design Summit, Summer Social, Showdown, and more.

To continue to connect with us and your broader professional network, we would like to direct you to these local organizations and community groups:

Design Corps of Santa Fe

Thank you again to these groups and everyone else who has made this community special over the years. Please don't hesitate to say hello when you see us around!
From the depth of all of our hearts,
The AIGA New Mexico team
